We booked a cleaner who damaged a part of our apartment. When we contacted Helpling, we were told they only cover damages from 500 Euros and over. Otherwise they suggest you try and claim from the cleaner, which seems pretty shocking considering they charge a commission.

I was honestly quite disappointed in the service. It started with the cleaner asking 2 hours before the service to come 1-2 hours later. What choice did I have at that point?

I had to move my day around and then she comes earlier than she made it seem like she wa coming. I understood her reasoning - needed some documents for her visa - I empathize because I am a foreigner myself.

But to be honest we have a 2 bedroom flat. I put 3 hours to clean for her because I assumed she would be fast enough to deep clean but she really took her time and honestly she didn’t even clean fronts of cupboards. I don’t know all in all maybe I’ll try again because someone else could be better. But look I’ve been a cleaner before when I’m younger so I just expect more and better.

Easy to use, lot of cleaner registered on the website so the cleaning request gets accepted within couple of hours. Chat feature allows to communicate seamlessly with the cleaners. Also allows to book recurring or reschedule or cancel appointments. Can highly recommend.

I made a very good experience with the app.
My request was to get a cleaning help every 2 weeks for 2 hours. My first provider was fine but it wasn’t as good as I thought it should. There was no problem to switch the provider in the app and the second time was a big win for me. Exceptional service and a very professional cleaning. I‘m very satisfied with my decision to get a cleaning help through this app.
The advices received from the app, what to prepare for the providers, so that the flat is prepared for the service were very helpful. It made everything go smooth from the beginning.
So overall I can only recommend it.

Tried Helpling already several times, always with cleaners who had around 4.9 star review. If you have high cleaning standards that were met by cleaners in the past, Helpling might not be for you. Even if I gave very detailed instructions (which room first, which cleaning materials in the kitchen) they just did it different and even used bathing cleaner an ALL surfaces!! It normally was also not really 100% clean. I am no switching to their professional cleaners, the others are just not satisfying or I was just always unlucky.

Very much depends on the cleaner. First 2 were not showing up, third were cutting the corners, smearing dust on the surfaces and leaving 30min earlier each time besides being always late. But we decided to give it a last chance and now with another cleaner everything is shining. Look on the ratings and reviews first.

Worst experience ever. Reached out to these guys for deep cleaning, their cleaners do not come with their own equipments (mop, solvents etc required for deep cleaning). Even if you‘re ready to pay extra they simply don‘t have it. And its not about the cleaners, its helplings who doesn‘t have that capability.They don‘t know how to run a business if they can‘t help their customers with their basic needs. I would rather prefer local services.

I had several chances to use the Helpling service at home. I am more than simply satisfied. The guys which offer their service are always friendly and i never saw a questionable result or something that coudln't be cleared in a simple way. Helpling itself offers a nice and easy website to book the services. Its super transparent when your next booked service will be and you get a nice reminder a day before. The chat function is quite nice to make sure the cleaner knows whats expected and you can add some short changes in time or whatever. Give it a chance - its as nice as you think.
