You may think that cleaning your carpets weekly with a vacuum cleaner is enough, but it’s not. Most of the time, dust, crumbs and insects get stuck in the carpet, and a regular vacuum cleaner is not powerful enough to suck them out and clean the carpet thoroughly.
Every day, we constantly step on the carpets with our dirty feet. Even if we can’t see the dirt accumulating, it’s definitely there. Even if we are careful, sometimes food crumbs can fall down and get stuck between the carpet fibres without you noticing.
When dirt, dust and crumbs remain in your carpet for a long period of time, they become a breeding ground for insects, germs and bacteria. Since people are constantly walking on the carpet, the germs and bacteria can easily become airborne and cause allergies or illness.
It is advisable to spotless your carpets once every 6 months. For weekly maintenance, it is enough to vacuum the carpet fibres.
Depending on the size and type of your carpet and how dirty it is, on-site carpet cleaning usually takes between 30 minutes and an hour.
For factory carpet cleaning, it usually takes between 3 days and 1 week, depending on the condition of the carpet.
Before:
Remove furniture on the carpet or remove breakable items from the furniture and surrounding area. Inspect your carpet for problem areas, such as stains.
After:
Do not walk on the carpet or place furniture on it for at least 6 hours. Lay it out to dry completely. Open windows and doors to ventilate the room and help the carpet dry.
